Meet Our Captain Tim Gonzalez – Master 50-Ton Licensed in St. Petersburg, FL
I’m a Master 50-ton captain with over 5 years of experience navigating the waters around St. Petersburg, Florida. I began my career as a banana boat captain and quickly advanced to commanding larger vessels, including a 47-foot power catamaran carrying up to 50 passengers for two years. Today, I specialize in private boat tours on smaller 6-passenger vessels, providing a personalized and intimate experience.
Most of my time is spent exploring the beautiful Tampa Bay and nearby waterways, including Shell Key Preserve, Outback Key, Irma’s Pass, Bunces Pass, and Egmont Key. I’m dedicated to sharing the beauty and excitement of the St. Pete area with every guest, ensuring an unforgettable experience on the water.
My main focus out here is to make my guests feel as comfortable as possible. I quickly realized smaller 6-passenger boats are where I thrive.
I just love engaging in the activities that we do on the boat and sharing my love and knowledge of the sea.
